Wellness Days

Wellness Days

Dr. Herbert Curtis Jr. is a member of the Foundation for Wellness Professionals, a non profit organization that has been in existence for 15 years.

As a local volunteer our office, along with 1,000 healthcare professionals nationwide, donate their time free of charge to provide programs that promote wellness and disease prevention.

Over the past 15 years our members have provided over 10,000 workshops and wellness days to clubs, churches, schools, corporations and businesses in their respective communities.

As a volunteer, we cannot receive remuneration for any of these programs. We are obligated to provide as many programs as we can. All of our programs help those who participate to improve their health.

A Wellness Day is a program that can include:

· A blood pressure screening to prevent heart attacks and strokes.
· A free chair massage to reduce stress
· Exercise recommendations or free memberships to health clubs or weight loss centers.
· Free health advice to help answer any questions anyone might have.

We can also call this a customer or employee appreciation day depending on who will participate.

We have liability insurance that would cover us if you needed it at these events.

The program requires the space necessary for three chairs and a small table.

The program will help everyone involved, and for some people, it could actually prevent a serious health problem as well as get them directed toward a healthier lifestyle.
